I have over 10 years experience of helping students prepare for their IELTS test. I will offer you clear and structured classes that focus on your "weak areas", with constructive feedback at the end of each session. There is no "magic" way to get a high band score, but there are some techniques that will help you on the day of the test. Take a look at my blog for IELTS speaking tips here. Here is an overview of the IELTS test. IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. The test is the same all over the world.
More than 9,000 organisations accept IELTS, including government, academic and employment institutions. The test gives an assessment of your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. You can choose to take either the general or academic test. Everyone takes the same listening and speaking test, but there are different reading and writing tests (for general and academic).
Speaking- 11-14 minutes
There is no pass or fail in IELTS. It is designed to assess your language skills. The results are reported as band scores on a scale from 1 (lowest) to 9 ( highest).
