Here in England we finally have a day that feels like spring. What better way to celebrate , than to have a look at some springtime English idioms!
Spring into action-Used for saying something is done quickly.
A happy bunny- Someone who is satisfied and pleased with a situation.
A busy bee- Someone who is always busy.
Put all your eggs in one basket- To depend totally on just one plan. You don't have an alternative plan if things go wrong.
To have a spring in your step- When you feel happy and full of energy.
The grass is always greener on the other side- Life seems better somewhere else. Or other people's lives seem better than your own.
No spring chicken- a person that is well past being young.
